He is survived by: his children, Ian Nelson of Conway, SC and Megan Nelson of Alma, AR; and his siblings, Leroy Nelson of Greenback, TN, Ron Nelson of Greenwood, AR, Doris Sallie of Bristol, VA and Linda Finn of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
