He is survived by: his close friend Judy Hixon of Fort Smith; his sons, Justin Hixon of Russellville and Jason (Tarin Hixon); his granddaughter Keely Hixon of Russellville; his brothers, William Hixon and Dennis Hixon of Russellville; and the mother of his children Sherry Kinslow of Russellville.
