Though Sergia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sergia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her mother Flor Riofrio. She is survived by: her father Sergio Riofrio; her husband Matthew Ortega; her children, Karina Ortega, William Ortega, Joshua Ortega and Flor Ortega (Garrison Furr); her grandson Cayde Ortega; and her siblings, Omar Riofrio (Veronica) and Shirley Buitron (Reinaldo) of Norwalk, CT. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
