She was predeceased by: her father John Wewers; her siblings, Stella Frederick (Gene), Celestine Dixon (Bill), Herman Wewers, Norbert Wewers (Mary) and Lawrence Wewers; and her sister-in-law Barbara Wewers.
She is survived by: her mother Rose Wewers; her husband Anton Reith; her sons, Rick Reith (Sharon) of Crane, MO, John Reith (Laura) of Fort Smith and Shannon Reith (Jodi) of Greenwood, AR; her stepchildren, Laurie Hindman (Philip) of Fort Smith and Karen Bruce (Randall) of Broken Arrow, OK; her brother George Wewers of Boise, ID; her sisters-in-law, Stella Wewers of Paris, AR, Mary Reith of Fort Smith and Milly Wewers of Bentonville, AR; her grandchildren, Lindsay Killingsworth (Aaron), Brooke Reilly (Don), Sarah Noland (David), Jana Braaten (Kai), Kelsey Loftin (Ryan), Emily Clayton (Alex), Andrew Hindman (Erica), Lauren Laughlin (Wes), Addie Reith, Maria Hindman, Matthew Reith (Rachel), Alec Bruce, Claire Bruce, Lydia Reith, Alexa, Jenna and Logan Howard; and her great grandchildren, Luke, Reagan, Cecilia Reilly, Rue Braaten, Colin Loftin, Amelia, Mae Hindman, Lizzy Jo, Bella Rose Noland, Duke, Finley Jane Clayton, Juliet and Corinne Laughlin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home (201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901). A rosary was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (22 N 13th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions or donations may be made to IC Ladies Auxiliary, Subiaco Academy, or IC Church.
