He is survived by: his son Ronnie Newton Jr. (Aleisha Newton); his grandsons, Damarius and Damarion Newton; and his siblings, Gabriel Newton, Chester Hartgraves, Hank Hartgraves, Robert Hartgraves, Norman Fulbright, Ratha Chatman, Betty Robinson, Odessa Steward, Lanita Johnson, Vita Rodriguez, Frankie Carter and Lola Ard.
