It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Layes of Fort Smith, Arkansas, born in Scranton, Arkansas, who passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Layes and Estelle Layes (Beshoner); his wife Regina Marie "Jeanie" Layes (Lensing); and his brother John Layes. He is survived by: his sons, Steve Layes (Holly) of Fort Smith and Darian Layes (Samantha) of Lavaca; his grandchildren, Lindsey Biocic (Thomas) of Prairie Grove and Garrett Layes of Fort Smith; his great grandchild Brooklynn Biocic of Prairie Grove; and his siblings, Charlie Layes of Scranton, Teresa Roos of Caldwell and Clarine Terwey of Scranton.
