He was predeceased by: his daughter Cassie Anne Osborn; his wife Darla Susan Clay; his parents, DeWitt Talmadge and Annie Francis Clay; and his brother-in-law Nolon Freeman.

He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Green (Josh) of Fort Smith, AR and Kevin Clay (Lisa) of Pensacola Beach, FL; his son-in-law Nathan Osborn of Alma, AR; his grandchildren, Kaden Domerese, Kohen, Willa, Holden Green, Harper, Sheppard Osborn, Caroline, Claire and Catherine Clay; his siblings, Margaret Freeman of Houston, TX, Rose Keusenkothen (Bob) of St. Louis, MO, Jerry Clay (Martha) of Ranburne, AL and Bill Clay (Marimarlene) of Starkville, MS; his mother-in-law Lynelle Bitticks of Lavaca, AR; his stepsons, Nicholas Buford (Angie) and Christopher Buford (Kendra); his stepgrandchildren, Maddison, Elizabeth, Abbygail, Khloe and Christian; and also Ronny.
