Robert William Lauderdale Obituary
Robert William Lauderdale, 80, of Fort Smith, Arkansas left his earthly home on September 16, 2023. Robert was born September 1, 1943 in Fort Smith to Henry and Reba Overstreet Lauderdale. He was a member of Oak Cliff Baptist Church and the former director of the Fort Smith Boxing Association.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Reba Lauderdale, wife Margaret Lauderdale, daughter Kristi Lauderdale, sisters Iris Smith, Linda Norton and Jackie Robinson as well as brother Victor Lauderdale.
He is survived by his daughters Melinda Simpson of Van Buren, Arkansas and Cindy Rowden and her husband David of Fayetteville, Arkansas, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith with Pastor Eric Smith officiating.
