He was predeceased by: his father Robert Richard Rowton; his wife Alice Rowton (McClung); and his siblings, Carolyn, Jim, Ray, Russ and Tom.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Rowton, Jr. (Diane) of Fort Worth, Dan Rowton (Penny) of Fort Smith and Barry Rowton (Robbie) of Fort Smith. He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
