Robert Laser Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Robert Laser of Fort Smith, Arkansas, born in Clarksville, Arkansas, who passed away at the age of 94, on December 3, 2020. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Wolfe and Esther Laser (Stephens); his wife Jacqueline; his daughter Christie Ann; and his brothers, Albert Wolfe, Jr. and James.

He is survived by: his children, Marcia Hixson (Richard) of Little Rock and Robert Stephens Laser, Jr. (Shana) of Fort Smith; and his siblings, David Nelson Laser (Ann) of Jonesboro and Esther Paul (Tom) of Webster.

Due to COVID restrictions, a private family service will be held at Goddard Columbarium at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the University Of Arkansas School Of Architecture (Robert Laser scholarship fund), Goddard Memorial United Methodist Church, The Boys and Girls Club of Fort Smith, or a charity of your choice.

“Bob was loved by his cousin, (my mother) Sharon Nelson Weilbaecher, and our family. Bob's cheerful, energetic enthusiasm and kind, loving spirit will be missed. 1 of 5 students in U. of A School of Architecture's inaugural class, he loved architecture & did presentations to local groups through the end of his life, & even more so, he volunteered in local public schools and w/The Boys and Girls Club . His contributions were an inspiration. Bob will be missed. I grieve for & with his family.”
