He was predeceased by: his father Jake Griffin; his son Jeff Griffin; and his siblings, Dorothy Blankenship, Billy Joe Griffin and Jimmy Griffin.
He is survived by: his close friend Deana Bratcher of Fort Smith; his children, Kenny Griffin of Fort Smith, Richard Griffin of Cromwell, Indiana, Kelley Katzer of Warsaw and Miranda Elkins of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and his siblings, Cindy Gloyna of Houston, Texas and Mac Griffin of Fort Smith.
