He is survived by: his children, Lisa Dawn Short of Barling and Ricky Dewayne Short (Robin) of Owasso, Oklahoma; his siblings, Sue Mott (Dahl) of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Carlos Short (Colleen) of Fort Smith, Bobby Short (Sandra) of Kibler and Jerry Short (Debbie) of Magazine; his grandchildren, Shelby and Cameron Blake Short; and his significant other Jim Yandell of Fort Gibson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
