With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Alan Patterson in Fort Smith, Arkansas, born in Fresno, California, who passed away on April 13, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Garth Patterson and Lucille Patterson (DeLuca); his former wife Barbara Ann Patterson; and his brother Garth Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Carol Patterson; his children, Rhonda Tomlinson (Tony) of Maud, OK and Brad Patterson (Gina) of Alma; his stepchildren, Felicia Pritchett (Frank) of Muldrow, Donald Williams (Mindy) of Gravette and Edward Williams (Ashley) of Bella Vista; and his grandchildren, Andrea Jeffcoat, Derrick Smotherman, Tyler Smotherman, Ryan Smotherman, Nicole Ackerman, Kyle Flanagan, Nick Williams, Alee Williams and Tara Badeaux. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
