He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Evans and Inez Evans (Ray); and his siblings, Romy Evans, Betty Prather and Ethel Woods.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Susan Walser of Fort Smith, Linda Chapman of Fort Smith and Russell Evans of Fort Smith; his sister Loretta Toler; his grandchildren, Dr. Brandon Walser (Rachel) of Little Rock, AR, Brittany Collins (Jimmy) of Fort Smith and Shatara Stone of Joplin, MO; his great grandchildren, Claire, Lucy Walser, Addie, Rylee Carter, Linkyn and Grey Collins; and his nephew Kenneth Swanner (Sherry).
