He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha McGowan (Hardy) and James McGowan. He is survived by: his significant other Charlotte Cecille McGowan; his daughter Amy McGowan; his brother Larry McGowan; and his cousin Leigh Donoho Merry (Philip).
A memorial service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel (201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901).
