It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nita (Helms) Bean of Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on December 21, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Zachary Farris of Washington and Gladys Farris (Commons); her siblings, Tom Farris, Scott Farris, John Farris, Walter Farris, Zachary Farris, Kenneth Farris and Thelma McInroe; and the father of her children Charles Helms (Noble).

She is survived by: her children, Jack Helms (Sharon), Billy Helms (Donna), Barbara Newman (Larry) and Jim Bean (Sharon); and her grandchildren, Audra Pogue (Jimmy), Ginger Schmitt (Greg), Krystal Cadelli (Chris), Brett Helms, Brian Newman (Janet), Julie Simpson (Eric), Mark Bean (Samuela), James Bean (Melissa) and Lacy Bean (Marcus Hedlund). She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and all her beloved nieces and nephews.
