She was predeceased by: her parents, Nick Thomas and Edith Thomas (Banning); her husband Grady Rice; her sons, James and Jerry Rice; and her sister Veta Long.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Hendrix of Central City, Michael Rice of Fort Smith, Billy Rice of Fort Smith and Phillip Rice of Fort Smith; and her sister Bonnie Thomas of Springdale, Arkansas. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
