She was predeceased by: her parents, Vince Keeran and Myrtle Tucker Keeran; her husband Charles Melton; her daughter Betty Jean Ashmore; her grandson Buddy Dwayne Burks; and her siblings, Bud Keeran and Sybil Barnett.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Melton of Fort Smith and Deborah Ann Burks of Sardis. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 21 great great grandchildren.
