We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2021, at the age of 84, Max Leon Burns of Fort Smith, Arkansas, born in Kingfisher, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Zello "Buz" Burns and Irene Cook Burns; his son Max II; and his sister Dorothy Pray. He is survived by: his wife Doris Burns; his daughter Deborah Beckham (Daniel) of Fort Smith; and his brothers, James and AJ Burns. He is also survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
