She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Kurgan and Lillian Kurgan (Henry); and her brother Tom Kurgan. She is survived by: her children, Susan Depalmo of Fort Smith, Pam Bader of Alma, Nancy Burris of Alma and Scott Ostensen of Jacksonville, FL; and her sisters, Beverly Reed of Beecher, IL and Karen Cleve of Beecher, IL. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
