He was predeceased by: his parents, Matt Podgornik and Darlene (Holland); his wife Karen Diane Podgornik (Cole); his brothers, Otis, Sherman and Steve Podgornik; and his father-in-law Glen E. Cole.
He is survived by: his sons, Matthew Podgornik, Jr. (Amber Boydston) and Kevin Michael Podgornik (Kayleigh); his grandson Easton Cole Podgornik; and his grandmother Wanda Cole.
