It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Hames of Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Dodd and Earl Dodd; her former husbands, Dr. James Howard Curlin, Jr. and Delbert Hames; and her sister Deloris Soucy.

She is survived by: her husband Wendell Weaver; her children, Sheri Curlin Patterson (Bill), Dr. James Howard Curlin III (Carol), Dr. Jay Russell Curlin (Bonnie), Jeffrey Dodd Curlin (Tracy) and Dr. Shelli Curlin Henehan (Brian); her brother Robert Dodd (Linda); her stepdaughters, Becky Weaver Wise and Tracy Weaver Soutiere (Mike); and her grandchildren, Paige Witt (Ben), Kaci Lawrence (Brandon), Hannah Marston (Jeremy), James Curlin (Rachel), Sarah Curlin, Kit Curlin (Liz), Kayleigh Podgornik (Kevin), Adam Curlin (Trinity), Jason Curlin, Dr. Jonathan Curlin, Cason Henehan (Jennifer), Gideon Curlin (Megan), Curlin Ray (Allison), Charity Curlin, Joshua Curlin, Philip Curlin, Gabriel Curlin (Olivia), Theo Curlin, Benjamin Curlin, Schuyler Henehan and Tristan Henehan. She is also survived by her fourteen great-grandchildren.
