She was predeceased by: her parents, Amburn J. Sumerix and Myrtle Sumerix (Jordon); her husband Chester Carlson; and her children, Chester Jr., Eugene Carlson and Linda Christee.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy Watkins of Roland, OK, Cheryl Hixson of Fort Smith, David Carlson of Waxahachie, TX and Roger Carlson of Fort Smith; and her brothers, Gary and Ted Sumerix of Muskegon, MI. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and forty-three great-grandchildren.
