He was predeceased by: his father John D. Smith; and his brother Larry Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Amy Spencer (Jason) of Charleston; his siblings, Betty Williams of Greenwood and John Smith (Pat) of Fort Smith; his grandson Justin Goff of Charleston; and his nieces, Jonella Graham, Tammy Conrow, Lynnetta Penson, Penny Smith and Tina Biggs.
