Louis Huck Obituary
Louis J. Huck who resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011 in a Fort Smith nursing home. He was born February 17, 1921 in Ratcliff, Arkansas to the late Lewis Huck and Christine (Baumgartner) Huck. He was 90 years old. He was also preceded in death by one son, James Thompson; and one sister, Kay Kleck.
Louis retired from Rheem Manufacturing in Fort Smith. He worked for Civil Service for 30 years, was a Army Air Force veteran of WWII, member of the American Legion, and member of Christ The King Catholic Church in Fort Smith. Rosary service will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 15th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Charleston. Burial will be at St. Anthony's Cemetery, north of Caulksville, "With Military Honors" under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Huck of the home; one daughter, Linda Briseno and husband Albert of Fort Smith; four sons, Donald Huck and wife Beverly of El Paso, Texas, Louis Huck and wife Sherry of Anchorage, Alaska, Herman Huck and wife Sabine of Harker Heights, Texas, and Mike Huck and wife Anita of Fort Smith; two sisters, Isabelle Soller of Ratcliff and Mag Kleck of Fort Smith; one brother, Leonard Huck of Branch; (22) grandchildren and (18) great grandchildren.
