With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Loretta Jenkins (Fort Smith, Arkansas), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Loretta left this world on February 15, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick Douglas Jenkins; and her brother Raymond Joseph O'Connor (Jeanne). She is survived by: her children, Laurie Jenkins (Kevin Trostle), Linda Salerno (Michael), Diane Sefcik (Gregory), Catherine Nichols (Terry), Doug Jenkins (Donna), Loretta Black (David), Daniel Jenkins (Karen Halls) and Carol Medins (Christian); and her sister Carol Costello (O'Connor). She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and six bonus grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel (201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (22 N 13th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901).
