She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Moore and Blanche Moore; her husband Robert E. Slater, Sr.; and her siblings, Ola Burchett, Delores Cox, Dortha Brasuell, Mary Smith, Paul Moore and George Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Slater of Fort Smith and Robert E. Slater, Jr. (Sylvia) of Oklahoma City; her grandchildren, Valerie Ochs (Matthew) and Ryan Slater (Sormeh); and her great grandchildren, Allyson Ochs, Zachary Ochs, Lillian Slater and Nina Slater.
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church in Fort Smith.
