Lillian Lorraine Lounsbury Obituary
On the morning of September 17th, 2022, Lillian Lorraine Lounsbury of Fort Smith, AR passed away at the age of 95. Born in Tulare, CA and preceded in death by husband of 52 years "Bill" Roland E. Lounsbury, parents John and Julia Simas, Grandson "Billy" William R Kopp, brother Richard Simas, daughter in law Gerry Lounsbury, and Great Grandchildren Alexander R Kopp and Garrett Lounsbury. Survived by two sons Jerald and Earl Lounsbury, and one daughter Doris Lounsbury.
One sister and brother in law Delia and Robert Shelton. Surviving grandchildren Christopher Kopp, Michael Lounsbury, Edward Lounsbury, and Richard Lounsbury. Great Grandchildren Katelyn and Jackson Kopp, Brandon, Amber, and Ryan Lounsbury, Skyler Lounsbury, Brittany and Ashley Lounsbury.
Including several nieces, nephews, and cousins. We were so blessed to have a woman like you in our life. You brought us comfort through your touch and warmth from your smile.
You recognized the simple things that brought us joy and you would cheerfully give without expecting anything in return. You've helped all of us learn, grow, and become who we are today and without you, we would not have been the family that we have become. Thank you for all of your support and gentle guidance and most importantly for sharing your heart.
You are forever loved by your family. Memorial service will be on Saturday, October 8th, at 10:30 AM at 22 N 13th St. Fort Smith, AR at Immaculate Conception. Following the service will be a gathering in the Fellowship Hall.
Family and friends will be notified on the date and time of burial.
