He was predeceased by: his parents, Joyce Bracken of Fort Smith, AR and Herbert Johnson of Fort Pierce, FL.; his former wife Ellen Bracken; and his sister Sara Sivley. He is survived by: his wife Diane Bracken; his stepson Matthew Baxter; his daughter Mary Margaret Eigenbrodt (Stan); his grandchildren, William and Annie of Richardson, TX; his son Quentin Bracken (Larry); his grandchildren, Sakura and Logan of Seattle, WA; and his brothers, John Bracken Rick (Terry) and Scott Bracken.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family has established the Larry Bracken Endowed Scholarship for Journalism at Pensacola State College.
