It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lahoma Dean Edwards of Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ira Gerald Edwards; her siblings, Dorsey, Grady, Bill Milam, Vida Lee Frazier and Jane Robinson; and her sons-in-law, Rodney Cook and Allen Graham.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law June Milam; her children, Cynthia Cook Graham of Houston, David Edwards (Ann) of Fort Smith, Jim Edwards (Gayla) of Fort Smith, Dr. Gary Edwards of Little Rock and John Edwards (Teri) of Cypress, Texas.; her grandchildren, Brent, Gregory Cook (Fort Smith), Susan Conaway of Provo, UT, Leah England of Bluffton, SC, Julie Edwards of Charleston, SC, Skylar Edwards (Washington, DC), Kayley Edwards, Stephanie Moore (Little Rock), Grant Edwards of Jackson, TN, Frazier Edwards (Little Rock), Dr. Megan Edwards of Houston, TX and Carter Edwards (San); and her great grandchildren, Elsa Conaway, Thomas, Jane England, Lucas, Nolan, Everett, Whitney Moore, Charlotte, James Edwards and Hamp Edwards.
