He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Bateman and Evelyn Bateman; his in-laws, Bill Sr. and Ann England; his brother-in-law Bill England Jr.; and his nephew TJ Cunningham.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann "Jodie"; his children, Kyle (Amanda) and Dr. Kristin; his son-in-law Silas Keig; his stepgranddaughter Preslie; and his in-laws, Mike, Kathy O'Kelley and Laura England. He is also survived by friends and many nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church and Boys & Girls Club Inc. Fort Smith, AR.
