He is survived by: his mother Lillie Smith (Freeman); his daughter Shelly Haynes; his sisters, Marilyn Jennings and Kathy Chiolino; his grandson Isaac Haynes; and his nieces and nephews, Angela Johnson, Maria Norvell, Chris Vick and Nick Chiolino. He is also survived by three great nephews and two great nieces.
