He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Lafayette Perry, Sr. and Ruth Rambo Perry; his brothers, Edwin and Leonard "Curly" Perry; and also, Wanda Perry, Betty Reyer and Peggy Patterson.

He is survived by: his wife Jackie of Barling; his children, Terri Hooper (Jim) of Upland, California, Kenna Karmel of Fort Smith and Dr. Blake Perry of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Zackary Karmel of Corinth and John Tyler Karmel of Fort Smith; and his brothers, David Perry of Fort Smith and James "Jim" Perry of Fort Smith.
