He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Gene and Reba Jean Whitsett (Yancey). He is survived by: his wife Catherine Whitsett; his children, Melissa Whitsett of Roland, OK, Katie Stephens of Fort Smith, Johnny Whitsett (Pam) of Fort Smith, Riley Whitsett of Roland and David G. Whitsett (Trish) of Cedarville; and his brothers, Riley G. Whitsett (Betty) of Van Buren and David R. Whitsett (Connie) of Van Buren. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
