He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Fondren and Mary Fondren (House); his wife Lillian Fondren; his sons, Thomas, Johnny, Bruce, Richard and David Lankford; and his siblings, Ed, Kenneth, Bo Fondren, Blanche Gist and Georgie Willett.

He is survived by: his children, Gary Lankford (Karen) of Hackett, AR and Judy Duckworth of Ft. Smith. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
