He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Shelly Bristol, Cheryl Gorenflo, Sandy Buker (Chad), John Ford (Kelli), Ron Ford, Trudy Ford and Audra Ford Myers; his stepchildren, Scott Kizer (Kristina) and Shanna Rumburg (Brian); his brother James Gunn (Elizabeth); his niece Sarah Hendrix; and his nephew Daniel Gunn. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.
