It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel D. Wallis (Fort Smith, Arkansas), who passed away on August 1, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Clark Wallis and Lydia Baize Wallis; his siblings, Joe L. Wallis, Vallie Hammon, Lena Patak, Linnis Jackson and Lillis "Boots" Casteel; his wife Shirley Wallis; his son Michael Wallis; and his stepson Ross Kennedy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Ruttman and Sharon Wallis-Baker; his sons-in-law, Steven Ruttman and Jon Baker; his grandchildren, David Wallis (Sue Wallis) of Arkansas, Ashly Chow (Eric Chow), Jennifer Horner (Mark Horner), Chase Ruttman, Carl Wallis and Leigh Wallis (Dannika Wallis); his stepgrandsons, Jared Baker and Nathan Baker; his great grandchildren, Kaylee Chow, Mason Chow, Zoe Chow, Ali Trevizo, Liam Trevizo, Bentley Baker and Charlie Baker; his stepdaughter Patricia Kennedy; and his stepgranddaughter Jasmine Kennedy of Arkansas.
