It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Wayne Putman of Fort Smith, Arkansas, born in Muse, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elbert Putman and Dora Putman (Edwards); his wife Mary; his daughters, Lethia King (Stephen) of Van Buren, AR and Athena Putman of Fort Smith, AR; his grandchildren, Kyle Putman, Sarah Sosa, Melia Johnsgard and Daniel King; and his great grandchildren, Malachi, Elijah Sosa, Graham Johnsgard and Kinsley Putman.
