She was predeceased by: her husband Matthew Porta; and her siblings, Nell Wolfe, Lorena Henry, Arnold Carter and Nelson Rozell.

She is survived by: her siblings, Cleve Lee Carter (Lola) of Dyer and Loretta Bryan (Mack) of Fort Smith. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
