In loving memory of Jessie LeRoy Carr (Fort Smith, Arkansas), who departed this world on January 14, 2025 at the age of 80. Jessie leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Deree Clem Cook and James Calvin Carr; and his brother Bill Cook. He is survived by: his wife Rose Farris Carr; his stepchildren, Alex Farris (Gloria Arrendondo) and Amy Swofford (Robert); his grandchildren, Justin, Tyler Farris and Nicklaus Swofford; his stepfather Onial Cook; and his sisters, Catherine Carlock (Joe) and Onna Newell (Curtis). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Chapel - Fort Smith (4817 Kelley Hwy, Fort Smith, AR 72904). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fort Smith National Cemetery (522 Garland Ave, Fort Smith, AR 72901).
