He was predeceased by: his son Justin Mitchell Gilkey. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his son Wade Gilkey (Kellie) of Fort Smith; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Gilkey, Avery Gilkey and Connor Gilkey; his brother Jimmy Gilkey of Havana; and his sisters-in-law, Judy (Jim Cannon) of Murfreesboro and Shelly (Brian White) of Searcy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
