Janet Matlock Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Matlock (Fort Smith, Arkansas), who passed away on August 19, 2020 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Preston Shearer and Beulah Estelle Ledbetter Shearer of Heber Springs, AR; her brother Harris Daniel Shearer of Benton, AR; and her nephew Jimmy Jarrett of Rogers. She is survived by: her son Chad (Theresa); her grandchildren, Max, Jett, Travis and Jeanine Matlock; her great grandchildren, Katelyn, Emily, Alexis and Mason; her grandchildren, Grant and Amanda Matlock; her great grandchildren, Caylinn, Logan, Laya and Landon; her grandchildren, Ty and Meagan Matlock; her great grandchild Haven; her sisters, Gaylene Wurtzbacher, Diana Marre, Sally Whitmer, Debbie Derrick Jennings, Sally Wright and Lynda Rogers; her husband Donnie Matlock; her sisters, Dathel Shearer Stair Balch of Clewiston, FL and Mara Shearer Stark Jarrett of Searcy, AR; her niece Valerie Kaye Stark Newsome (Kevin); her nieces and nephews, Marla Estelle Stair-Wood (Andy) of Knoxville, TN and Ellisa Stair Martin of Clewiston, FL; her aunt Bea Tharp; her cousins, Keith and Kevin Ledbetter of Searcy, AR; and also, Logan of Tampa, FL, Jessica McNeil, Ryan (Tracie Gorman) and Graham of Deland, FL.
