James Michael Mooney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Michael Mooney in Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on April 4, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Mooney and Lina B. Mooney; his wife Eudora Mooney; his son Michael Mooney; and his siblings, Herbert Mooney, Jr., John Mooney, Barbara Bounds and Anita Rahaim.
He is survived by: his daughter Janice Sudbrink (David); his grandsons, Sam Sudbrink (McKenna) of Fort Smith, AR and Ben Sudbrink of Fort Smith, AR; and his sister Lavinia Nowell of Philadelphia, MS. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Donations in his memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, First Baptist Church, Philadelphia, MS, and Heart of Hospice Fort Smith.
