It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Thomas Holmes of Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on October 2, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Doc" Holmes and Ann Holmes (Farley); his son Dallas Holmes; and his sister Vicki Yates. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Lindsey Holmes and Dustin Holmes; his great grandchildren, Lawson Brumbelow, Kash Brumbelow and Tucker Brumbelow; and his brother-in-law Glen Yates. He is also survived by one niece and nephew.
