He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Schwartz and Angela Schwartz (Kramer); his former wife Jerry I. Schwartz (Geheb); his brothers, Robert Schwartz (Bob), Richard Schwartz (Dick) and Joseph Schwartz (Joe); his stepson Matthew Walbe; and his niece Stacey Schwartz.

He is survived by: his wife Rosetta C. Schwartz (Walbe); his children, Doug Schwartz (Anna), Larry Schwartz (Missy) and Kim Schwartz (Barry Presson); his siblings, Fred Schwartz, Kitty Hug and Mary Beth Meek; his grandchildren, Alan Schwartz (Jennifer), Michael Schwartz (Lisa), Michelle Valdez (Miguel), Jesse Schwartz and Jacob Schwartz (Erin); his great grandchildren, Vincent Valdez, Landon Schwartz, Mikey Valdez, Bentley Schwartz, Evelyn Valdez, Collin Schwartz, Camden Schwartz, JohnPaul Schwartz and Angelica Schwartz; his godchildren, Cyndi Hug, Debbie Burger, James Schwartz, Jimmy Barnard, Linda Stilley, Naomi Jean Strojek, Ronald Schwartz and Teresa McMains; and his stepchildren, Judy Marrin, Curtis Walbe, Vince Walbe, Steve Walbe, Joanie Testa and Janet Newman.
