It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Isabelle Bass (Fort Smith, Arkansas), born in Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on September 13, 2017, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Georgia Anna Johnson Taylor; her husband John Edgar Bass, Jr.; her godson Calvin Christian; her father William Johnson-Taylor; and her sisters, Hazel and Bessie Taylor.
She is survived by: her goddaughters, Denice Gilyard McCurtain (Ricky) of Spiro, OK and Tiffinee Baker of Fort Smith, AR; and her nephews, Isiah Earl Boatwright (Anita) of Los Angeles, CA and Ronald Boatwright (Esther) of Houston, TX. She is also survived by other nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
