He was predeceased by: his wife Bea Leonard; his son Terry Leonard; and his siblings, B. F. Leonard, JoAnn Hartsell, Wanda Robison, Barbara Yadon and Genieve Gipson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Billie Knittig (Jerry) of Fort Smith and Mitzi Efurd (Ken) of Fort Smith; his siblings, Donnie Leonard of Fort Smith, Peggy Booth of Fort Smith and Linda Dunn of Lavaca; and his grandchildren, Michael Whitson, Chris Leonard, Amanda Witt, Megan Sullivan and Holly Trotter. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
