Bates Jr. (Fort Smith, Arkansas), born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on March 13, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Howard Sr. Bates. He is survived by: his wife Kristein; his daughters, Sarah Bates of Oklahoma and Sandra Davis of Elizabeth City; his half-sister Jackie Smith of Iowa; his stepsister Ravivian Stanton of Indiana; his brother Larry Bates of Indiana; and his half-brothers, Jessie Molloy of Iowa, McAtee Debose of Indiana, Dennis Bates of Indiana and Jerry Bates of Indiana. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
