He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Reba Stevenson Davis and Vernon Roy Davis; his wife Harriet Jane Goodwin Davis; and his siblings, Betty Zane Davis McKenzie of Pine Bluff and Russell Lee Davis of Pine Bluff.
He is survived by: his sister Verna Jean Davis Carter of Marion, Ark.; his children, Louis Davis of Springhill, Tenn. and Barbara Davis Woodring (David) of Fort Smith; and his grandchildren, Drake Davis, Sydney Davis, Woody Woodring and Abigail Woodring. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.
