It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Standiford (Fort Smith, Arkansas), born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Henry Shelton and Otmar Dakota Rood Shelton; her husband A. J. Standiford; and her daughter Donna Gentry. She is survived by: her daughters, Tricia Story (Wayne) of Elm Springs, Kathy Patton (Terrell) of Fort Smith and Jeanie Jones (Darrell); and her friend Sally Hunt. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
